Inexplicably either their marriage was annulled or they divorced prior to Jan. 13, 1913, just 32 days after their marriage. He married Grace Pearl Wyatt on Jan. 13, 1913. Supporting a short 1st marriage for Lula, who married William Townes Henessey on Dec. 11, 1912, and then married Robert Lee Sistare on Jun. 22, 1920. In the 1920 census, taken Feb. 13, William is married to Grace, and their eldest child is 5, consistent with their marriage on Jan. 13, 1913. Grace died in 1929, thus she doesn't appear on the 1930 census, and Lula had married Robert Lee Sistare Jun.22, 1920. With no annulment or divorce records found, it's possible that William Townes Hennesseey was a biggamist, but that's only idle speculation to explain the two very close marriages.
